Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Coorg
Arrive in Madikeri, check-in to coffee plantation resort, welcome drink with fresh coffee, visit local spice market, and evening at Raja’s Seat for sunset views over the valley.
Day 2 – Coffee Plantation & Abbey Falls
Morning coffee plantation tour with bean-to-cup process, coffee tasting session, visit Abbey Falls through spice plantations, and afternoon at Omkareshwara Temple with unique architecture.
Day 3 – Dubare Elephant Camp
Early morning drive to Dubare Elephant Camp, elephant interaction and feeding, river rafting on Kaveri River, visit to Nisargadhama island with bamboo groves and deer park.
Day 4 – Bylakuppe Tibetan Settlement
Visit Bylakuppe, India’s largest Tibetan settlement, explore Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery), interact with monks, traditional Tibetan lunch, and shopping for handicrafts and prayer flags.
Day 5 – Talakaveri & Bhagamandala
Drive to Talakaveri, source of River Kaveri, temple visit and mountain views, Bhagamandala temple complex where three rivers meet, and evening at Iruppu Falls through forest trek.
Day 6 – Adventure & Local Culture
Morning trekking in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, bird watching and nature photography, visit local Kodava family for traditional lunch, learn about Coorg culture and customs, evening bonfire.
Day 7 – Departure
Morning at leisure for last-minute shopping at Madikeri market, purchase fresh coffee beans and spices, check-out from resort, and departure to Bangalore/Mysore with beautiful memories.
